In 2007 Automatica published the book collection ARTE BRA which documents contemporary Brazilian artists that have been working since the 80’s. The first two volumes of the collection were dedicated to the artists Marcos Chaves and Raul Mourão.
The books consist of a gathering of bilingual texts and images which involve more than twenty years of the artists production and offer the reader a complete vision of the works of art.
ARTE BRA Raul Mourão is composed of an unpublished text by Paulo Herkenhoff as well as of texts by Agnaldo Farias and Paulo Venancio. The artist Carlos Vergara and art critic and curator Luisa Duarte and the architect Ana Paula Pontes were present during the interview. The artist’s notebook was composed of Raul’s video images and texts. The chronology which was organized by Débora Monnerat presents the main events of this path.

In 2007 Automatica published the book collection ARTE BRA which documents contemporary Brazilian artists who have been working since the 80’s. The first two volumes of the collection were dedicated to the artists Marcos Chaves and Raul Mourão.
The books consist of a gathering of bilingual texts and images which involve more than twenty years of the artists production, and offer the reader a general vision of the works of art.
ARTE BRA Marcos Chaves is composed of three texts: one is unpublished, developed by art critic and curator Adolfo Monteiro Navas; and the other two, by Ligia Canongia and Luisa Duarte which have strengthened the theoretical debate regarding the artist’s work even more. In the book we can also find an interview with Glória Ferreira and Lula Wanderleym, the artist’s notebook, with a series of never seen before photographs and a chronology, organized by Débora Monnerat.
